January 16 - February 15, 2007

Faces of the Mind, an exhibition of the photographs by Jerry Robinov, continues his tradition of bringing awareness to health issues. In this exhibition Faces of the Mind, A Portrait of Mental Illness, Robinov displays his skill as a portrait artist and adds the models personal, insightful and emotional stories. The exhibit will be held January 16 - February 15, 2007 at The Jan & Gary Dario Gallery in the Humanities Building.

The Irv Rudley - Portrait Artist exhibition at the Jan & Gary Dario Gallery
was a showcase of pure talent for the artist from Hollywood, Florida. Irv is firmly
established in South Florida with his portraits of local officials, celebrities and
private commissions. In addition to his professional work Irv teaches seminars to
our fine arts students here at PBCC in learning the details of expressive portraiture.

The Second Annual National Painting, Drawing and Printmaking Competition was
held at the Jan & Gary Dario Gallery from February 4 - April 17, 2006. The 2006 competition
featured artists from 10 different states, as well as 16 artists from Florida.

Barry Sparkman of the Lowe Art Museum in Coral Gables, Florida judged the Second Annual National Exhibition. The show featured artwork from artists across the country - 10 different states represented, including 16 artists from Florida.
