Chapter 1012

This chapter establishes the personnel classification system and other issues related to the employees of public educational facilities in the State of Florida.

Part I defines employee classifications.

Part IV concerns issues related to employees of public postsecondary institutions.

  • Section B relates directly to personnel issues at community colleges, including records, teaching hours, contracts, civil service exemption, employment, equity accountability, sick leave and retirement.

Part V contains the School Community Professional Development Act and discusses in-service opportunities for professional development.
