This chapter establishes regulations regarding tuition, fees and financial aid in postsecondary institutions. This chapter is devoted entirely to postsecondary and workforce instruction. Of the five parts of this chapter, these three are the ones with which community college stakeholders would most likely come in contact:
Part II concerns issues such as residency status; fees for workforce education, community colleges and universities; exemptions, waivers and deferrals; and fees for repeating credit and college preparatory classes.
Part III deals with state financial aid issues, including eligibility and appeals, and the role of the Florida Department of Education in financial aid.
- Section B lists all of the scholarships, grants and other aid programs offered by the State of Florida.
Part IV establishes the prepaid college tuition programs offered by the state.
