Palm Beach Community College: A commitment to excellence

Florida's first public community college is now the largest institute of higher education in Palm Beach County, offering over 110 certificate programs, A.S./A.A. and B.A.S. degrees.

With four locations and more than 49,000 students annually, PBCC is the first step for more than 30 percent of the college-bound seniors in our county's public schools and serves as the career builder for many of the professionals in our community.

Crunch the numbers: 70 percent of all firefighters in the county, 80 percent of health care workers and 90 percent of law enforcement officers used PBCC as their training and proving ground. PBCC has strengthened every aspect of our community’s infrastructure.

And that's just the beginning The College is also a resource for continuing education, cultural arts, bioscience, online learning programs and students who aspire to bachelor's degrees. Beginning in August 2009 PBCC will offer the first Bachelor of Applied Science degree (B.A.S.) in supervision and management in Palm Beach County.

PBCC embodies the definition of a community college. It provides an affordable, quality education to local residents who, in turn, become vital members of the community, enhancing everyone's lives--including yours.
