| "The Little Orphan College," 1948-1960 |
The site of PBJC's second location, Morrison Field, which later became Palm Beach International Airport. |
Morrison Field was once an Army-Air Force base. |
A Morrison Field building made a spacious library. The former military base reopened during the Korean Conflict, and PBJC was forced to relocate again. |
PBJC reloated to Lake Park Town Hall in 1951 where it remained until moving to its permanent location in Lake Worth. Before that, the local media dubbed PBJC as "the little orphan college." |
