Course Description
The purpose of this course is to educate and prepare an individual, who has no previous tractor-trailer driving experience, for entry-level employment within the truck/driving /transportation industry. Completion of this program will enable the student to obtain a Florida Commercial Driver's License A. Class A VEHICLE. A class A vehicle is defined as any combination of vehicles with a gross weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more provided the GVWR of the vehicle(s) being towed is more than 10,000 pounds.
