
You must first file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order for the Financial Aid Office to determine which loan type(s) you are eligible for. Loans are part of your Financial Aid package. You must meet all Financial Aid requirements in order to be eligible. The Federal Government offers both Subsidized and Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loans. These are low interest loans created to help you pay for your education. Remember you must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours (or the equivalent) to receive your loan funds! If you drop below 6 credit hours, your loan may be canceled and you will be responsible for your full tuition and fees.
