When assigned a presentation, it is imperative that you let me (your instructor) know in advance what presentation equipment you will need. I need ample time to make the arrangements to order the correct device(s). All computer presentations need to be on a CD-R, CD-RW, DVD or flash drive only.
If you plan on using you own laptop, I will need to contact Media Technology & Instructional Services (MTIS) so they can help set up the interface with the projector. It is against college policy for instructors or students to connect or disconnect college electronic or network devices. PBCC currently does not support the use of USB external hard drives and many computers no longer have floppy drives.
It is suggested that you stop by MTIS, in the library, to test run your presentation in advance.
