gda imageFor more than twenty-seven centuries, Chinese acrobats have been thrilling audiences, making it the "longest running" folk art form in history. In China, acrobats are revered much the same way prima ballerinas and opera singers are in the West. The performers of the Golden Dragon Acrobats represent the best of this honored tradition, mixing award-winning acrobatics, traditional dance, spectacular costumes and ancient and contemporary theatrical techniques to present a show of breathtaking skill and spellbinding beauty. pin imageThe Missoula Children's Theatre returns to the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center for its 16th annual production! Join Pinocchio as he dances with Geppetto's charming toys, travels the road to Pleasure Isle with Candlewick and his Crew, and is swindled by the unsavory Fox and Cat. After escaping the clutches of the evil puppetmaster, Stromboli, Pinocchio finds himself in trouble once more - this time swallowed by a monstrous whale. As Geppetto and the friendly Urchins spin their magical tale, we learn with Pinocchio that there are no shortcuts on the road to becoming a real, live boy. Come see our local stars perform! Learn more about MCT at http://www.mctinc.org.

Auditions for children ages 5-18 will be held on Monday, April 19. For more information, please call the theatre.
