Application Prerequisites:

Applicant must be:

1. In a professional or faculty position
2. Employed full-time by Palm Beach State College for at least one year

Application period is closed for 2009-10.

If you would like to apply to the LEAP program, please follow these steps:

1. Download the LEAP Application: click here. You must have Microsoft Word on your computer to download and complete the application.

2. Complete the application and save the file to your computer

3. Write an essay on the following topic: Explain your reason for applying to the LEAP program. What you believe you can contribute and what you believe you will gain from the LEAP program experience. The essay can be no more than three pages, double spaced with one inch margins. Please include your name on the essay.

4. Obtain a letter of support from your supervisor indicating your availability for LEAP meetings and conferences.

5. Update your resume with information on employment history, educational background, and community and volunteer activities
