The Nursing Program at PBCC is committed to providing the best education for students seeking an Associate of Science Degree (AS) in Nursing. The exciting, new curriculum is designed to facilitate the care of clients within the parameters of the health care field in this, the new millennium. The conceptual framework is based on a holistic approach utilizing the Goal Attainment Theory of Imogene King coupled with the work of Barbara Dossey. Nursing Faculty create a learning environment through a team teaching methodology.

The Belle Glade cohort of the PBCC Nursing Program is supported by community leaders of Belle Glade, Clewiston and Pahokee. It is funded in part by Health Care District, the Stewart Foundation and the Palm Health Care Foundation. Applications for admission are accepted annually. The deadline for submission is October 1 st for January admission to the program. Pre-requisites are those listed for the Nursing Program on the Lake Worth campus.
Upon graduation, students are awarded an associate of science degree. Any individual with an arrest record is advised to seek counseling regarding possible limitations towards licensure prior to applying for entrance.
