PSAV, CCC, ATC and ATD Completer Reminders and Information

Graduation (Completers)

Follow the procedures outlined on the Certificate Program Leaders Completer Steps page.  Note:  Completer requests should be submitted at least 30 days prior to the last day of the program, even if students are not "finished" with all program courses.  This will allow the Graduation Office to communicate with you regarding transcript, testing issues, or other holds.

Certification

For all programs that send any forms, or electronic verfications to a state licensing agency or board, the following steps apply:

  • Request Programs Completer as listed on the Certificate Program Leaders Completer Steps page.
  • Submit the complete packet to be sent to the agency or board to the College Registrar's Office a minimum of three business days before it needs to be mailed.
  • The Registrar's Office will mail the packet directly to the agency and will mail a copy of the signed form to you for your records.
December Exception for Certificates and Certifications

If any program managers have an emergency need to have student certificates produced, or to have licensure certifications verified before or during the winter break, the following steps apply:
  • Send an e-mail to the College Registrar outlining the need.  Explain reason process must be done prior to January (include any documentation if applicable).
  • All requests must be received by September 1 in order to guarantee review of this process.

Commencement

PSAV, CCC, ATD, and ATC graduates will be invited to participate in Commencement ceremonies.  The Certificate Student ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. on the same day as the regular AA/AS/AAS Ceremony, which is held at 2:00 p.m. (see Academic Calendar on Web for dates).  Please be thinking about volunteers you can provide to assist during line up and the ceremony.

Instructor/Staff Attendance
  • Program managers, program instructors, and adjunct personnel should plan to "march" in the processional with academic regalia.
  • Anyone who needs to purchase regalia should visit the bookstore.  Caps and gowns are available for at a reasonable cost.  Master's hoods can be purchased on special order.
Student Attendance
  • Students graduating during the fall term will be invited to attend the December ceremony.
  • Students graduating during the spring or summer term will be invited to attend the May ceremony.
  • Indicate on the Program Completer Request Form whether or not the student plans to attend the ceremony.
