Awards

PBCC Credit and Non-credit Courses

SEEK (Seeking Excellence in Education and Knowledge) Scholarship will cover admissions fee, in-state tuition and books for select credit and noncredit early care and education courses.

Conferences or workshops in early care and education must be organized by a recognized, approved organization and between the amounts of $20.00 to $350.00 to be eligible for the SEEK scholarship. Conference or workshop registration form must be included with the SEEK Scholarship application.

SEEK COVERS:
  • SEEK - approved PBCC credit and noncredit courses, college preparatory courses, and books.
  • In addition, SEEK will pay for early childhood education credit courses at the Bachelor and Master level payable at the state tuition rate.
  • PBCC Application fee
  • PBCC testing center fee-CELT, CPT, TABE
  • GED test reimbursement
  • CDA at PBCC or approved training location
  • National CDA & renewal
  • Conferences and workshops at approved sites

SEEK Scholarships do not cover the 40-hour, 30-hour, 30-hour FCC, First Aid courses, school-age courses, or out-of-state tuition.

Cursos En Espanol

Para asegurar que todos los empleados se pueden desarrollar en su trabajo relacionado con el cuidado infantil, PBCC ofrece cursos en Espanol. Algunos de estos cursos son ofrecidos para usted sin costo alguno a traves de la beca SEEK. La beca SEEK tambien paga por los diferentes nivelesdo los cursos ESOL (Ingles para estudiantes de otras lenguas)
