Comparative Compliance Course

This course is for previously FL-certified or out-of-state law enforcement officers and covers the high liability courses required by FDLE to take the State Exam (Defensive Tactics, First Responder, Vehicle Operations, and Firearms). Student must come ready to qualify in all areas. This course is NOT meant for students to learn the techniques or practice. This course is merely to qualify (proficiency testing only).

Program Length
Approximately 36 hours(4 days)

Admission Requirements
This is a Limited Access program for previously Florida-certified Law Enforcement Officers or out-of-state Law Enforcement Officers. Applicants must submit a completed and signed CJSTC Equivalency Form 76, and if being authorized by an agency, an Authorization to Attend Form and sponsorship letter must be submitted by the agency. If not being authorized by an agency, applicants are required to complete the assessment process through CJI’s Selection Center, which consists of a complete background examination (employment verification, criminal history, credit history, driving history), polygraph/CVSA and psychological exam. Assessment fee is approximately $450.

Completion Requirements
Successful completion of all blocks of study with a minimum score of 80% on all exams.
