In early childhood education, you can begin by taking coursework to prepare you for the State-mandated entry-level test.  The Child Development Associate will prepare you to work with children in various settings, and the credits you earn will transfer into the associate in science degree.  College credit certificates allow you to obtain the skills in specific areas. 

In the Human Services program, you can gain the knowledge, skills, attitudes and professional training essential to become a service assistant, social service aide, or case manager aide, and PBCC's career pathway enables you to take the first step by obtaining your college credit certificate first!
