Employment Outlook

The current employment outlook is EXCELLENT. The demand for diagnostic imaging personnel is expected to grow faster than average, according to the U.S. Department of Labor, for all occupations through 2016, as the population grows and ages. 

Salary ranges for graduates of such programs vary by region. The registered technologist can expect to enter the job market at approximately $39,840 to $57,940 annually, with increases based on experience and specialization up to $68,920 or more, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
