For students seeking state certification as a firefighter, classes are offered on both daytime and nighttime schedules in the Fall and Spring terms of each academic year. The program follows the curriculum established by the Bureau of Fire Standards and Training of the Florida State Fire College in Ocala, Florida. |

Successful completion of this Certificate Firefighter Program allows the student to sit for the State of Florida certification examination. Certification is required for employment as a Firefighter under Florida Statute 633. |
