This degree program is designed for the student who seeks immediate employment in the operations management field upon graduation or who desires advancement and is presently employed in construction related industries or other technical fields.
Employment Opportunities Upon completion of this program, students may seek employment in a variety of supervisory and technical areas in the fields of construction, architectural drafting/design and other related fields requiring a broad knowledge of supervisory and operational managerial skills.




Job Outlook The outlook for industrial production manager is stable in the State of Florida; however, experiencing a declining growth nationally. A total of 5,428 average annual openings are expected for this occupation between 2006 and 2016.

Career Path Notes Students who successfully complete the Building Construction Specialist C.C.C., the Drafting and Construction Technology CCC, PBCC apprenticeship programs or one of PBCC's PSAV certificate programs, may enroll in the A.A.S. in Industrial (Operations) Management Technology program and receive credits toward their degree requirements.
