Real estate is one of the three major industry groups in Florida's economy. Palm Beach State College offers both pre-licensing and continuing education courses for the Real Estate professional.
Real Estate Broker - This PSAV program is a study of the principles and practices needed to become a Real Estate Broker. Topics include getting started as a broker, valuing real property, listing and selling real property and specialties such as zoning, environmental issues and property management and real estate closings. This program is designed to prepare students to become a Real Estate Broker by successfully completing this course and then passing the state license exam. After obtaining a Florida Real Estate Broker license, individuals are required to complete a 60 hour post licensing course before their state license expires prior to their initial renewal date.
Real Estate Sales Associate - This PSAV program is a study of the basic principles, practices and theories of real property, economic value, legal implication and relationship to the sales associate and broker. The program is designed to begin preparing students for employment as a real estate sales associate or to provide supplemental education for those previously or currently employed in this occupation.
Corporate and Continuing Education (CCE) at Palm Beach State College is pleased to offer several continuing education courses designed to help professionals renew their certification or license, increase their work skills or help them enter a new field.
