

The mission of the program is to graduate students with entry-level employment skills required of a professional Radiographer. Fulfillment of the program’s mission is assessed by the degree to which the program achieves the following goals: 1.0 Provide an educational environment that promotes student success by:
1.1 Providing appropriate instruction and educational opportunities in the classroom and clinical setting.
1.2 Providing job placement assistance upon graduation.
2.0 Provide graduates with the knowledge to:
2.1 Produce radiographs of diagnostic quality.
2.2 Demonstrate clinical competence.
2.3 Demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills.
2.4 Provide appropriate patient care. 2.5 Maintain a safe environment according to the ALARA philosophy.
2.6 Communicate effectively with patients and co-workers.
2.7 Maintain the ethical and professional values outlined in the ASRT/ARRT Code of Ethics.
