Life, Health and Variable Annuities Agent  (5470)

Program Description This PSAV program prepares the student to take the State of Florida licensing exam for a position as a life insurance agent, including health and variable annuities. This course is for all participants who deal with the ultimate consumer and must obtain a Florida insurance license.

Course content includes development of communication, critical thinking, human relations and employability skills. Topics included in the course: insurance terminology and concepts, federal and state regulations and legal contracts.
Employment Opportunities This program prepares the student for an entry-level insurance position.
Career Path Notes Upon successful completion of the program, the student may take the Florida Department of Insurance examination for licensure in Life, Health & Variable Annuities.
