Electrical Apprentice (PSAV 5257)

Plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.

This PSAV programs is a combination of on-the-job training and related classroom instruction offered by PBCC for a private sector sponsor that is registered with the apprenticeship registration agency (Florida Department of Education).

Palm Beach Community College awards students who complete their apprenticeship a Post Secondary Adult Vocational Training Certificate. In addition, Palm Beach Community College has developed an articulation process for journey workers to receive 24 credits toward the Industrial (Operations) Management AAS degree.

Prospective students apply directly to the apprenticeship sponsor.
