Machining Technology (PSAV 5459)

This PSAV program is designed to prepare the student for employment in the metalworking industry.

Opportunities for program completers include manufacturing industry careers as machine tool operators, precision machinists, tool and die makers, CNC operators and programmers, and quality control inspectors. Trained machinists are in demand.

Palm Beach Community College awards students who complete the Machining Technology program a Post Secondary Adult Vocational Training Certificate.

In addition, PBCC has developed an articulation process for program completers to receive 24 credits toward the Industrial (Operations) Management AAS degree.
