APPLYING FOR A PIN
Employers who want to take full advantage of our services may want to apply for a pin number.

Advantages:

  • Allows employers to "save" job-posting information within the system. This information can be updated and/or modified at your convenience, thereby avoiding the redundancy of re-writing position description information
  • Provides access to candidate resumes on-line with options to search for prospective candidates based upon the employment skills required and/or other qualifications
  • Creates an informational profile of your organization.
Exceptions: How to get your PIN

The following types of employers are not eligible to obtain a pin but can post jobs without a pin:

  1. Third party recruiters
  2. Employers requiring some form of investment on the part of the candidate as a condition for employment who do not guarantee any form of wages (commission, multilevel marketing, etc.)
  3. Private homes requiring personal assistance such as babysitting, companion, yard work, etc.
  4. Employers without a federal tax ID

How to get your pin #

Once you complete the pin application it will be reviewed by a Career Center staff person ( M- F). Once approved you will receive your pin # with 24 hours and steps to logging to your employer record. You will then have the option of listing your positions and searching for students with resume online.
