Derek Black is a second year student who will graduate in the spring of 2010. He is a German Studies major planning to attend the remainder of his undergraduate education abroad in Germany. He intends to use his knowledge and experiences of foreign culture to write for and connect American and European audiences.

Madeleine Lenke, an international transfer student, is currently completing her AA degree at PBCC. Madeleine plans to transfer to Florida Atlantic University where she will pursue a degree in Mathematics Education.

Jean S. Joseph is a second-year PBCC student who plans to graduate in December 2009. A current double-major in Mathematics and Physics, Jean plans to continue in both disciplines and earn doctorates in each.
