Rob is responsible for promotion and development of registered apprenticeship and preapprenticeship programs throughout the state. He monitors and provides technical assistance to registered apprenticeship programs with 12,500 apprentices and over 5,000 participating employers.

Evan works in conjunction with The Boca Raton Sea Turtle Conservation Program and is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University in biological sciences and music.
Presentation: Sea Turtle Conservation
This talk will cover history, general biology, and species ecology of the five types of sea turtles found of the coast of Florida. The talk will also focus on human impacts upon nesting behavior and issues dealing with the decline of turtle species worldwide with conservation solutions to the problem: lighting, the fishing industry, and recycling.
Dr. Tom Steffen is with the Electrical Power Technology Program at the PGA campus. He has taught for over 20 years in engineering fields. He is responsible for growing the Palm Beach Community College program for students in the fossil as well as renewable energy areas. He presently teaches a course in Photovoltaic's and is responsible for creating the wind, biomass and solar courses for the program.

Steve is a past President of the Monterey Bay, California Solar Energy Association. Using a Rain Barrel
Come learn how and why you should use a rain barrel. Harvesting rainwater using a rain barrel helps supplement irrigation for a small cost. Storing rainwater also helps reduce storm water runoff, which can lead to reduced levels of pesticides and fertilizers in our water. Rain barrels will be available for purchase.
