Student Government Association

Welcome to PBCC's Palm Beach Gardens Student Government Association. We are glad that you have taken your first step to enriching your experience at PBCC by possibly joining SGA. We have many benefits in serving as a representative to SGA.

  • Leadership and training opportunities
  • New experiences and building relationships
  • Work closely with adminstration to provide service for you fellow students
  • Collaborate with others to provide campus activities

The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official voice of the student body in matters relating to the college's function. SGA is an important link in the college's endeavors to ensure a positive learning environment for our student body. Participation in SGA provides many opportunities for involvement at the local, district and state levels of student government in Florida through the Florida Junior/Community College Student Government Association (FJCCSGA).

Each year, officers are selected to make up the Executive Board, which plans the SGA's activities. To find out if you are eligible to apply for an officer position, or to join a SGA, contact your Palm Beach Gardens campus SGA advisor, Marcella Montesinos at montesim@pbcc.edu
