Trainer Approval Track

This training track is designed for professionals who design instruction for adult learners. The courses demonstrate professional presentation and training skills based on best practices in business and education. The series focuses on principles of adult learning, transfer of learning to the workplace, and the backward design. To successfully complete the course, students must complete the course requirements.

Train-the-Trainer

HEO TBA: Outcomes Driven Training (ODT) Online
This course prepares Registry-Approved Level II Trainers & Master Trainers to design and deliver training that results in the achievement of intended outcomes. Trainers learn how to use the backward design method that incorporates the principles of adult learning and to create and maintain environments conducive to learning.

HEO TBA: Beyond ODT: Energize your Content
This course provides Registry Approved Trainers with information and techniques to maximize attention and retention in adult learners, improving transfer of learning to the workplace and achievement of intended training outcomes.

Trainer Approval Series Online: The Introduction
This online course is an introduction to Palm Beach County's Professional development system, The Registry, The Core Competencies for Early Care and Education Professionals and Outcomes Driven Training. This course is one of the requirements to become a Palm Beach County Registry-Approved trainer and is a prerequisite for Outcomes Driven Training I.
