Introduction to Tissue Culture laboratory allows students to be exposed to animal and plant tissue culture. The student will gain experience in the maintenance of equipment and techniques used in a tissue culture laboratory. Students will be exposed to various cell culture lines, learn how to handle and maintain these cell lines, prepare various media solutions, carry out general tissue culture assays (such as transfection), and perform a batch scale-up of cells using the bioreactor.
