Professional Pilot License Credit Course Equivalency

Students who provide the following professional pilot licenses may be eligible for college credits toward the Professional Pilot AAS/AS degree.

  • Private Pilot & Instrument Rating - 16 credits - Click here for Prior Learning Form

  • Commercial Pilot and Instrument Rating (Rotorcraft) - 23 credits - Click here for Prior Learning Form
  • Commercial Pilot, Single, Multi-engine and Instrument Rating - 24 credits - Click here for Prior Learning Form
  • Flight Instructor License, Commercial Pilot, Instrument Rating - 27 credits - Click here for Prior Learning Form

Initiator: Faculty Member

Process: The Faculty Member completes the Professional Pilot Prior Learning Assessment Form for specific student pilot license(s) (see above). The form is approved by the dean and forwarded to the registrar's office for course loading. PBCC Office(s)

Responsible for Processing: Faculty Member, Dean, Registrar

Student Fee for Processing: $50.00

Eligibility: Students enrolled in the Professional Pilot AAS/AS program and have earned one or more of the professional pilot licenses listed above.
