Enjoying unprecedented popularity following appearances on the 2007 Academy Awards® and in 2008 on OPRAH, Pilobolus has developed from an ad hoc dance collective which began as an experiment among three men and one open-minded professor in a Dartmouth dance class in 1971, into a unique American arts organization that is dedicated to the choreography and performance of dance-theater works at the highest level of imagination and energy.
