Welcome to the home page of YOUR Lake Worth Campus Student Government Association!

We represent the entire Palm Beach State College Lake Worth student body—nearly 20,000 students in all.

As a student at Palm Beach State Lake Worth, you are already a member of your Student Government Asssociation (SGA). The SGA Lake Worth Senate is in session each Wednesday in SCC154 at 2pm. We welcome YOU to attend and hope you'll consider taking your SGA membership to the next level by becoming a senator.

SGA Senators and the Executive Board develops exciting programs and activities for you and the community, but most importantly, we advocate for the interests of all Palm Beach State-LW students. We do this at not only the campus and college levels, but within county, state, and national governmental and interest group structures. One day may find us organizing Welcome Week for new students; another may find us helping an individual student solve a complex problem; still another may find us speaking directly with state legislators at the Florida capitol.

Through each of these activities and more, SGA's aim is to acheive positive advancements for students, promote civic engagement, and facilitate smooth working relationships between Palm Beach State's students, administration, faculty and staff.

The Student Government Offices are in BK 107.1 within the Student Activity Center. The entire 2009-2010 Executive Board and Senate stand ready to serve you!
