How to Apply for Admission to the BAS Program
Below are the steps you should follow for application and admission to Palm Beach State College and the Bachelor of Applied Science Program. If you are unsure of your status as a Florida resident, please review the following document: How to apply for Florida Residency for Tuition Purposes (PDF).

STEP 1: Apply to Palm Beach State College first (before sending transcripts).
(First-Time Palm Beach State College applicants, select BAS program code objective as of January 2009.)
(Application is not necessary if you have previously attended PBCC and taken credit classes. See Step 4 below.)

  • For current Palm Beach State College students: Print and return Program Objective Change form to Admissions/Registration on any campus or to the Baccalaureate Studies office (TE 106) on the Lake Worth Campus.

OR

  • For students out of Palm Beach State College for more than one year: Apply Online at FACTS.org (choose “Admissions”).

OR

  • For students new to Palm Beach State College: Print and fully complete the paper Application for Admission (PDF) and forward it to the Office of Admissions Processing Center, 4200 Congress Avenue, Lake Worth, FL 33461. Incomplete applications will be returned.


    Any student falsifying application information will be subject to immediate dismissal without refund.

Step 2: Pay College Application Fee (non-refundable)
$20.00 for U.S. citizen
$30 (U.S. currency) for international students (F-1, I-20 students only)
(Current and former Palm Beach State Collge Students - No Application fee needed)

Step 3: Have Transcripts Sent to Palm Beach State College (Electronic preferred)
All official transcripts should be received prior to orientation and registration. Electronic transcripts expedite the process.

Step 4: Attend Orientation
Orientation is required of all BAS students prior to registration. An invitation will be sent to your my.pbcc.edu email address after you have been accepted into the program.

Step 5: We recommend you apply for Financial Aid early. Visit Palm Beach State College's Financial Aid Web page and complete the FAFSA form online.

Conditions for Admission (Acceptance) Information
Upon completion of all forms, and assuming eligibility, the applicant will receive a Conditions of Admissions Form and his/her Personal Identification Number (PIN) from the BAS Admissions Office.
