Join a growing network of teen leaders. Meet current local community leaders and experts in key fields such as government, health care, environment, education, social services, business, public safety, the arts and media. This class will leave campus once a week to learn about Palm Beach County first hand from local leaders. This class meets all day each Wednesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. ($177)

Paths to Leadership
What does it mean to be a true leader? What are your talents? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Learn communication skills, peer pressure prevention, anger management, team building and many, many other skills that will help you become a true leader. This course will be facilitated by youth advisors from ASPIRA Palm Beach, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving youth leadership skills through empowerment.

Chess Champions
Learn to play or improve your chess game. The theory and principles of chess will be taught through problem solving assignments. Jr. Care Givers
Have fun while learning the ins and outs of babysitting. Topics will include the developmental stages of children, types of questions to ask parents, "Stranger Danger" and steps to take in an emergency situation (including an introduction to CPR and first aid). Create age appropriate games to play as well as a list of books that are suitable for children of different ages. Certificates will be awarded at course completion. Bring a 3 ring binder to collect all your handouts.
