"What do you offer?"
Intramural Sports offers you the opportunity to participate in your favorite sport on a competitive or recreational level. Leagues are available in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor sports year-round, including basketball, soccer, dodge ball, and kickball.
"Who can play?"
Anyone who is a currently enrolled student of the Lake Worth Campus can join an Intramural Sports team. You can form a team of your own or enter a league as a Free Agent and be placed on a team.
TEAM MANAGERS: Intramural Sports can assist you in determining if all members of your team are eligible. Using players who do not have a current and valid Panther Card Identification will cause you to forfeit all games in which they participated. Teams receiving at least one forfeit during the regular season are not eligible for the playoffs.
"What divisions and levels are available?"
Individuals may only participate on one Open team, one CoRec team, one Women's team per sport. When multiple levels exist - individuals may only participate at a single level. The levels offered (varying by sport) are:
- "A" or Competitive - Advanced - This is the most competitive level of play. Teams are generally comprised of highly skilled, competitive athletes or individuals that either have some experience in the sport.
- "B" - Recreational - Teams participate at this level strictly for recreation. Player ability is not as important as the emphasis on participation, having fun, and socializing. Recreational leagues are excellent for social clubs or individuals learning a new sport.
No individual may participate on more than one competitive team per Division (i.e. an individual may participate on a Men's Competitive team or a Men's "B" team, but not both).
Assumption of Risks
Participation in Intramural Sports carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. The specific risks vary from one activity to another, but the risks range from 1) minor injuries such as scratches, bruises, and sprains to 2) major injuries such as eye injury or loss of sight, joint or back injuries, heart attacks, and concussions to 3) catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death.
NO I.D, NO PLAY, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Panther Card Identification checks occur before every Intramural Sports contest. Failure to provide an acceptable form of identification will result in not being allowed to participate in Intramural Sports on that day. Absolutely no exceptions will be made.

Intramural Sports Needs You!
Intramural Sports is looking for participants interested in volunteering in various capacities for the Intramural Sports program. Volunteers may assist the Intramural Sports program as officials, timekeepers, scorekeepers, and/or equipment specialist. The council will also serve as a resource to the Intramural Sports Program regarding new activities.
