
We offer our services as part of PBCC and in partnership with community organizations through the following programs: Part of integrating to the US culture is learning the English language. The Language Connections Institute at PBCC offers English classes that enable you to obtain a higher paying job, or attend college, or participate in your children’s education. Some of the courses offered include: Ingles Minimo, Intensive English, Conversation, Pronunciation, Grammar and Writing. Palm Beach Community College The college offers a variety of short- to long- term educational programs and courses that prepare you for a career, job or ownership of a business. Whether you have attended a foreign university and are interested in completing your education in the U.S.; have never attended college and would like to start; need vocational or apprenticeship training to obtain a job; or simply have an interest in learning a new skill or language; we have a program that will suit your needs. An advisor is waiting to meet with you and will assist you in developing an educational and personal action plan which may include having your foreign degree evaluated enabling you to continue your studies in the U.S. For a list of educational programs and courses, click on Areas of Study. Community Services & Programs The Center collaborates with numerous community partners to provide you with information about their programs and services such as: Employment, Health Services, Immigration & Legal Services, Financial Literacy, Transportation & Childcare. Culture Orientation Workshops We offer free workshops that enable you to better acclimate and integrate to the U.S. culture. The workshops are offered in English, Spanish and Creole.
