Admissions Procedures

The Institute will accept approximately 15 students per track. Admissions will be competitive and the Institute Admissions Committee will be looking for quality and diversity of students.

Deadline for submission of all admissions documents is Wednesday, April 1, 2009.

  1. Read the FAQ's (click on link in left nav bar)

  2. Complete the online Admissions Questionnaire (click on link in left nav bar)

  3. Complete the online PBCC Application for Admissions form at www.pbcc.edu/AdmissionsApplications.xml

  4. Submit current official high school transcripts (high school dual enroll students and graduating seniors)

  5. Submit all official college and university transcripts

  6. High School dual enroll students must submit a completed Dual Enrollment Form (available in your high school Guidance Office)

  7. Submit official SAT, ACT or CPT test scores.

    Minimum test scores:
    SAT: Verbal 480 - Math 480
    ACT: English 27 - Math 27
    CPT: SS/RC 100 - CLM 95

(you can take the CPT at any of PBCC's four campuses for $15)

The Institute Admissions Committee will examine each student’s credentials.

Institute scholarships are provided to
cover tuition, books, and materials.
