“Earthly Delights” in The Gallery at Eissey Campus

PBCC and the Palm Beach County Art Teachers Association (PBCATA) will display original artwork featuring 20 of the association’s kindergarten to 12-grade art teachers at The Gallery at Eissey Campus in Palm Beach Gardens. “Earthly Delights” introduces imaginative works that comment on the relationship between natural and manmade beauty revealing both what the artists encounter and what they choose to hold dear. The works include sculpture, drawings, mixed media, photography and ceramics. The opening reception for the exhibition is Tuesday, May 19 from 5 – 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The Gallery at Eissey is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday & Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays.

"From Peninsula to Peninsula" - A retrospective exhibit of paintings by Steven Konopacki

Steven Konopacki is a local educator and painter using acrylic paint to explore his appreciation for the beauty of urban bleakness. Originally from Michigan, these paintings depict colorful abstract and surrealistic landscapes inspired by both Michigan and Florida settings. An Opening Reception with the artist will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23. This is free and open to the public. Florida Blood Centers - Blood Drive
The mobile unit will be on campus collecting blood in front of the Registration building. A critical number of voluntary donations are required every day to meet the need for blood. Donors receive T-shirt, food vouchers, etc...  Please donate and give the gift of life!

Open House will be held each month on Thursday afternoons from 1pm - 2pm. The scheduled dates are July 30, August 27, Sept. 24, Oct. 29, and Nov. 19. For 2010, the dates are Jan. 28 and Feb. 25.
