All credit and prep categories showed large gains in 2008-09. Advanced & Professional (A&P) rose 14% -- its largest gain in nine years -- while College Preparatory gained 12%. The growing EPI category, which consists of classes that lead to teacher certification, gained nearly 35% in its third full year at PBCC.
Non-credit, however, did not fare as well. Non-apprenticeship PSAV was the only non-credit category to show gains -- up nearly 13% -- but Apprenticeship and Continuing Workforce Education finished down for the year.
