Classes are $59

Lunch
Lunch can be bought or brought. Tickets for lunch will be on sale in the cafeteria for $4.50 each. That buys you a cheeseburger / chicken nuggets / or a hot dog with cookie, french fries, and a drink of soda, water, or milk. You can also get pizza with a cookie and a drink for the same price.

Intern Program
Interns are volunteers who can receive Community Service hours by assisting teachers with their classes and escorting students to classes, breaks, and lunch. Interns are at least 15 years old and may apply to be an intern by Send Letter of Intent and two letters of reference to the Community Education Coordinator at sullivaj@pbcc.edu. We are happy to provide documentation of their volunteer work and to give them glowing letters of recommendation - provided they have earned it!

Assistant Program
Assistants are employees of the college that work for Summer Youth College. They must be 18 years or older and are paid at a flat rate for 30 hours a week, Monday through Thursday, June 22 - July 30. for more information please read this letter and e-mail your information to the Community Education Coordinator at sullivaj@pbcc.edu.

SYC Finale Festival
Students will share their summer learning experience and projects with family and friends on August 1st. Skits, art work, dance, science projects and other accomplishments will be on display and food and logo gear will be available for a fee. Check the website for additional information.

Q: If I have never attended PBCC can I apply on-line?

A: Yes, you can submit a non-credit application to PBCC via our website by clicking here.


Q: If I attended SYC last year do I have to reapply?

A: No, your application is good for one year.


Q: How do I reapply?

A: You may reapply online by clicking here as a Non-Credit student.


Q: How do I know when I have to pay?

A: The amount due and the pay due date is on your schedule. Please print your schedule!


Q: What happens if I am dropped for non-payment?

A: If it is not past the registration deadline and there are seats available in the class, you can register yourself again on-line. If it is past the registration deadline and/or the class is full, you will not be able to re-register for the class. That is why it is important to print your schedule!

Q: I am doing my taxes. Does SYC have a Tax ID Number?
