Biotechnology 2 (BSC2427)

Biotechnology 2, lecture and lab, is a course designed to introduce the student to protein expression, structure, processing and production. The student will learn about various chromatography techniques such as fast-protein liquid chromatography (fplc), running protein gels, and western blotting. Students will visit local biotech company labs, meet scientists from our bioscience community and participate in a research project poster presentation.
