After completing your associates in arts (AA) degree at PBCC, take upper level coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in either Biology Education (Grades 6-12) or Mathematics Education (Grades 6-12) through FAU at the PBCC-Lake Worth campus.
FAU classes are offered in the evenings, or on Saturdays, in a “Fast Track” format. To register for the FAU classes, you must first apply for admission to FAU as an undergraduate student. Once the admission process is complete, you may register (using “OASIS”) from the FAU website: http://www.fau.edu or by visiting the Registrar’s Office on any FAU campus. In the OASIS system, search by department, then scroll down to “courses offered at other campuses” to find the courses.
Education students should see a PBCC and/or an FAU advisor before registering for classes. For more information on the PBCC-FAU 2+2 Teacher Education program, contact Samantha Wallace (FAU), (561) 868-3804 or wallaces@pbcc.edu or swallac4@fau.edu. Samantha will be at the PBCC Lake Worth Campus on Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Room CE 112. Please call for an appointment.
