The AS degree program in Motion Picture, TV and Video Technology at Palm Beach Community College provides professional training for those wishing to enter the exciting field of Media Production. Students are exposed to fundamental theoretical principals as well as practical industry standards and techniques using the latest state-of-the-art technology. Courses are taught by award-winning industry professionals. The program offers professional internship placement in cooperation with local and national Television, Film and Commercial Advertising Studios. Upon completion of the program many students gain immediate employment in the field. Graduates may also take advantage of the PBCC’s articulation agreements and transfer to area colleges and universities to pursue Baccalaureate degrees. In addition to the AS degree program, the department offers Technical Certificates in Production, Post-Production and Production Management.
