ART EXHIBITS AT THE EISSEY CAMPUS

The Palm Beach Community College Eissey Campus has two art gallery spaces. One located in the BB Classroom Building on campus and one located in the lobby of the Eissey Campus Theatre. Each gallery has rotating exhibits by PBCC students and faculty as well as local and national artists.

Astrid Mora Exhibition
"Through Borders"...Oils, watercolors and mixed media...
Astrid Mora was born in Colombia, where she studied Visual Arts and History. Subsequently, she traveled to Spain and earned her Master's Degree in Art History. After living several years in Spain, Mora returned to the U.S. and made her home in West Palm Beach. Her travels have become an infinite source of inspiration and reflect the influence of nature on the human mind. She works with realistic and dynamic figures showing her interest in human emotional complexity and how they are inter-related. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Colombia, Spain and the USA and is included in different collections.

Irwin Weintraub Photography Exhibition
An exhibition of black and white photos as well as color and photojournalistic works. Mr. Weintraub's work reflects his extensive travels and wide range of subject matter from the simplicity of a single flower to the intricacies of the human form. Irwin has exhibited and/or sold work at arts shows, galleries, museums and design centers for the past six years including The Weston Art Festival, Miami Beach Art Show, South Miami Art Festival, Las Olas Art Fair, Dibenedetto Gallery, Schacknow Museum of Fine Art, ArtServe Gallery and the Parker Playhouse Fine Art Gallery.
